I just had to share this quilt because it made me smile. I can totally relate. You can find this quilt and lots of other beautiful artwork at Julie Fei-Fan Balzer's blog, Balzer Designs. Her pen and ink art is a whole lot of fun. Check it out!

In order to get your free kit, hop on over to my digital scrapbook Facebook page and "like" it. Then I'll send you a link to download the kit. Sound good? Great! And... if you would like to see any of my other kits, please feel free to stop by Stock Hop Studio, my digital scrapbook blog.
Be aware it could take up to 48 hours for the whole process to take place, so be patient if you don't hear back right away.
I am considering posting a tutorial for this project if I get ten or more requests. It's really very easy to do!
I reworked the bird late last night and got the result below...I don't know for sure if it's an improvement or not. You can tell the photos were taken in very different lighting.
I love participating in this kind of swap. It's a great way to fill my studio with original art from around the world. This card will be making its lovely way to Argentina this week! Thanks to the Great Big Stitched Postcard Swap.
